Škoda Launches New Kushaq in India with Advanced Features

Škoda Auto India has unveiled the new Kushaq, a significant update that aims to enhance the brand's presence in the Indian market. With a focus on democratizing European technology for Indian roads, the Kushaq introduces several segment-first features and continues the brand's commitment to safety, comfort, and style.

Design and Performance

The new Kushaq embodies Škoda's Modern Solid design philosophy, featuring an all-new front grille with chrome ribs and an Illuminated Light Band. The vehicle's aesthetic appeal is further enhanced by new LED headlights, front parking sensors, and connected taillights with sequential turn indicators. Alloy wheels are standard across all variants, contributing to its dynamic stance.

Under the hood, the Kushaq offers a choice of engines. The 1.0 TSI engine delivers 85kW of power and 178Nm of torque, paired with a new eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission or a six-speed manual. For those seeking more performance, the 1.5 TSI engine provides 110kW and 250Nm of torque, mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission, ensuring a thrilling drive.

Features and Technology

The new Kushaq comes equipped with a host of features designed to elevate the driving experience. A panoramic sunroof and dual-colour ambient lighting enhance the interior's ambiance, while a 10.1-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay keeps occupants connected. The advanced infotainment system is powered by Google Automotive AI Agent, offering voice assistance tailored to Indian English accents.

Standard features include Climatronic Auto AC, an electric sunroof, and over 25 active and passive safety features, such as six airbags. Higher variants boast over 40 safety features, including a rearview camera, rain-sensing wipers, and auto-dimming IRVMs.

Pricing and Availability

The new Kushaq is available for pre-booking on Škoda Auto India's official website with a booking amount of ₹15,000. Deliveries are expected to begin by the end of March 2026. The vehicle is offered in three new colors—Shimla Green, Steel Grey, and Cherry Red—alongside existing options.

Škoda's Super Care package enhances ownership experience with a standard 4-year warranty, roadside assistance, and four labour-free services, ensuring peace of mind for customers.
