Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced a groundbreaking expansion of its service network, marking a significant milestone in the company's history. In the financial year 2025-26, Maruti Suzuki added a record 502 new service touchpoints, the highest ever in a single year for the company. This expansion brings the total number of Maruti Suzuki service touchpoints to an impressive 5,926 across 3,000 cities and towns in India.

This strategic expansion underscores Maruti Suzuki's commitment to enhancing customer convenience and ensuring that their after-sales service is accessible to a broader audience. With the addition of these new touchpoints, the company aims to provide comprehensive service coverage that caters to customers in metropolitan areas, smaller towns, and even remote regions. The diverse range of new service formats includes ARENA and NEXA workshops, Maruti Suzuki Sales and Service Points (MSSSP), Service-on-Wheels, and Bodyshop-on-wheels.

Historical Growth and Future Goals

Maruti Suzuki's journey in expanding its service network began in 1983 with the inauguration of its first service workshop. By 1997, the company had reached 1,000 service touchpoints. The pace of expansion has significantly increased in recent years, with the company announcing the opening of its 5,000th service touchpoint in May 2024. Over the last five financial years, Maruti Suzuki, in collaboration with its network partners, has added nearly 2,000 service touchpoints, highlighting a robust growth trajectory.

Looking ahead, Maruti Suzuki has set an ambitious target to expand its service network to approximately 8,000 touchpoints by FY 2030-31. This goal reflects the company's proactive approach to meeting the evolving needs of its customers and ensuring that service accessibility continues to improve across the country.
