The all-new BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro has been officially launched in India, expanding the X3 lineup with a new petrol variant. Locally produced at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai, this model is now available for booking across all BMW dealerships nationwide. Priced at INR 74,50,000 (ex-showroom), the X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro aims to offer a blend of luxury, performance, and versatility.

Design and Dimensions

The design of the BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro is characterized by its monolithic appearance, with expansive surfaces and precise contours. Measuring 4,755 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,660 mm in height, it stands as the longest, widest, and tallest vehicle in its segment. The car's aggressive front is marked by a large Fully Black BMW kidney grille with Iconic Glow Illumination, flanked by best-in-class Adaptive LED Headlights with High Beam Assistant.

The vehicle features a sporty silhouette, elongated bonnet, and long wheelbase of 2,865 mm, contributing to its athletic stance. The exterior is completed by 20-inch M alloy wheels and M Sport brakes in red for improved braking performance. Customers have a variety of paint options, including Brooklyn Grey Metallic, Dune Grey Metallic, Alpine White, Individual Tanzanite Blue, and Black Sapphire Metallic.

Interior and Technology

Inside, the X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro offers a minimalist yet sophisticated cabin with high-quality materials. The interior is dominated by the BMW Curved Display, which includes a 12.3-inch information display and a 14.9-inch control display. This setup is complemented by a standard customizable head-up display and ambient lighting that accentuates the cabin's premium feel.

The vehicle features Sports Seats with active ventilation, lumbar adjustment, and backrest width adjustment, covered in sustainable Veganza leather. Entertainment is delivered through a Harman Kardon surround sound system with 15 speakers and 750 watts of audio power, ensuring an immersive audio experience.

Performance and Engine

Under the hood, the X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder in-line petrol engine producing 258 hp and a maximum torque of 400 Nm between 1,600 and 4,600 rpm. This setup allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. The car features BMW's TwinPower Turbo technology and a 48V mild-hybrid system that enhances both performance and efficiency.

The model includes Adaptive Suspension with electronically controlled dampers, providing two settings for varied driving experiences. The Sport Mode optimizes damper responses for dynamic handling, while other modes focus on comfort. This system ensures supreme driving safety and handling precision.

Technological Innovations

The latest BMW iDrive with QuickSelect offers intuitive touch and voice control, running on the BMW Operating System 9. The system supports BMW ConnectedDrive services and the MyBMW App, which allows users to monitor vehicle status and create a BMW Digital Key Plus to use a smartphone as a car key.

Driver assistance features are extensive, with Driving Assistant Plus providing Active Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, and more. The Parking Assistant Plus includes fully automated parking with surround view cameras, along with features like the BMW Reversing Assistant and BMW Drive Recorder.

Safety is enhanced with eight airbags, Dynamic Stability Control, and additional features such as Cornering Brake Control and Hill Descent Control, ensuring stability across varied terrains.
