2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Debuts with Sporty APEX Variant
Royal Enfield has unveiled the 2026 Guerrilla 450 range in India, introducing the new APEX variant alongside updates to the existing Dash and Flash trims. This launch signifies Royal Enfield's continued commitment to enhancing its lineup with sportier options and improved features. With bookings now open, retail sales are set to kick off on March 31, 2026, offering enthusiasts an exciting new addition to the Royal Enfield family.
APEX Variant: A Sportier Ride
The introduction of the APEX variant is the highlight of the 2026 Guerrilla 450 lineup. Designed to appeal to those seeking a more sporty riding experience, the APEX brings significant changes to the bike's ergonomics and handling. The aluminium handlebars have been lowered and repositioned, promoting a forward-leaning stance that enhances the bike's road-focused character. This variant also features 17-inch road-biased Vredestein Centuro ST tyres, which promise improved grip on tarmac, particularly under aggressive riding conditions and in wet weather.
In addition to these mechanical updates, the APEX variant introduces new color options like APEX Red, APEX Black, and APEX Green. These are complemented by visual elements such as rim tapes, a sculpted rear seat cowl, and a color-coded front cowl, adding to the bike's sporty appeal.
Enhanced Ride Modes and Existing Variants
One of the key updates across the Guerrilla 450 range is the enhancement of ride modes. Both Street and Sport modes now support mode retention, ensuring that the selected mode remains active even after the ignition is cycled. This feature is designed to enhance the overall riding experience, offering convenience and adaptability for riders.
The existing Dash and Flash variants have also received updates. The Dash variant is now available in a new Twilight Blue color and comes equipped with handguards and a headlight grille as part of its updates. Meanwhile, both Dash and Flash variants benefit from improved CEAT Gripp XL RE tyres, designed to deliver better grip and stability.
Engine and Technology
Mechanically, the Guerrilla 450 remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the 452 cc liquid-cooled Sherpa engine, delivering 40 PS and 40 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is built on a steel twin spar frame, maintaining its reputation for a balance between everyday usability and sporty performance.
Technologically, all variants are equipped with Royal Enfield’s Tripper Dash, a circular 4-inch TFT display that offers Google Maps-based navigation and smartphone connectivity. This system provides turn-by-turn navigation and ride data, enhancing daily usability and connectivity for modern riders.
